Ash the soccer player

I realized that I never posted pictures of Ashley as "the soccer player". She has done quite well this year. Hopefully, it will continue. She is not afraid to run after the ball (and take it from her own team mates!). She isn't too aggressive, but does get the idea of playing hard. She has scored a few goals, some against "good" goalies and even one against her own team!!! After a few tears, we did find out those do not count; good thing!! Over all the season has been a lot of fun. I am actually sad that this year is almost over. Just one game left!!!

Hula Hoop

Yes, Ashley has learned a new trick and she is beyond proud of herself. She is a hula hooping honey!!! I guess taking the VERY large stance helps and lack of Jimmy's hula hooping genes can not hurt either. If you are ever having a bad day, ask Jimmy to hula hoop for you...guarantee you pee your pants!!!

Ashley's First Day

Thanks to Uncle Keith, I realized that I have not updated in awhile and I never put Ashley's first day of preschool photos on her. She did a GREAT job...she was ready go, picked out her outfit, wanted her picture taken and most important...her Dad was going to school with her. She has since changed classes to the afternoon and really seems to be loving it. We go over and over the 3 rules...Be kind..Be safe...Be in control. In all honesty, these rules are GREAT rules to live by...simple but very true!!!

Oh, I forgot 4th of July...

I realized that I forgot 4th of July in my "blog world". It was wonderful as always...thanks Mom and Dad for hosting another fabulous party. After the party, we decided to go to Indiana (I wanted to be spontaneous). We drove 3+ hours to go watch Johnny race for Kaos Motorsports (aka Camp Chaos...the "k" is for Kristin). The kids did great, Johnny did great...what can I say, it was a great day!

As always, when we have family functions at my mom's, we have little mini photo shoots with everyone. Here is a few pictures of Ashley...she never gets to go first.

Red headed love

Yes, I am one of those mom's that let her kids sleep with her! They NEVER start there, but Ash seems to end up there about 70% of the time. I am so tired and our bed is big enough that it is just easier to let her stay. I know, I know!! I got out of bed with these two on separate sides of the bed, but when I returned this is how I found them. Honestly, could this be any cuter?? Love them red headed babies:)!!!!
