Dr Ericka

Besides the fact that my babies are just the littlest things in this picture, I also love this picture of Ericka. You would never know that 3 days earlier, I had no idea who Dr. Ericka (Cunningham) Kipp was. She turned out to be my angel when it came to delivering my babies. She was with us from beginning to end...all 18 hours. She walked with us, she talked with us, and most important, she held my other leg during the delivery. Without her, Isaac and Alli might still be caught in there today:)! Seriously, it brings a smile to my face when ever I think about my delivery. I know...SCARY!!! It was a good experience, minus all of the stitches. I had great doctors, a loving husband, my mom taking pictures (and breathing and even pushing!) and my new friend all making sure the two most important people in the world entrance was a great one! Thanks Ericka~you are the best!
p.s. When I talk about Ash in a few weeks you will see Dr. Ericka there too. I am telling you, she is my "delivery angel"!

That Smile

Even at a few months old, that boy of mine could warm the world with his smile. How can anyone resist a bald, toothless, "chunky" man? Isn't he the most handsome thing you have even seen???

What a Big Girl ~ 08-01-03

This is not her first time rolling over, but one of her first few. Sorry, I did not have my camera with me at all times, I was ALWAYS holding a baby:)!!!!
It's funny, she still looks the exact same(minus the "chub")!

My Babies

As I was explaining to Alli and Isaac this evening that their birthday is in just a couple of weeks, I started to get myself all worked up. Imagine that?!?! I started to think all that "we" have done in the past 6 years, from IVF to Kindergarten sign ups, to celebrating 5th birthdays. WOW!!! Of course, I start to cry. It is hard to even imagine my babies as babies. Where does the time go? So I decided that from now until their birthday, I am going to post a picture of the kids from the past 5 years. No particular order, favorite, or reason, just pictures. It will get me to scan the pictures into my computer and most important make me remember where we have come from to where we are going.
I thought it would be most logical to start with the "helper", the best doctor in the whole wide world, Dr Young. Without this man their would be so many families without the love(s) of their lives. I owe my family to this man and God. Thank you Dr Young for all that you have done. Thank you God for bringing Dr Young into our lives and blessing us with Allison Marie and Isaac James. What would my life be without them????

Grandma at the Tea Party

Just a quick thanks to Mrs. Simon for inviting Grandma TenBrink (a.k.a. Grandma with the hot tub) to the kid's Tea Party. Hopefully, she had a great time:)!

Jimmy, no it's Isaac

I realized that I often mention the "importance" of being a mom to girls...making sure their hair is done and dress for the occasion. I also want everyone to know I find being a mom of a boy just as important. It is difficult for me at times, being that I am a girl and grew up with a girl, to understand this boy thing. I have to say this boy melts my heart way more than the girls could ever dream of. Not that it is a competition, just a fact!
Last week the big kids had a tea party. Of course, Alli had to wear her big Easter dress and Isaac had to wear a tie. As I was taking pictures of the kids, I looked at my camera (basically to make sure they were smiling and had their eyes open) and saw Jimmy staring making at me. They both have a way of putting a smile on my face. Just that smile, it melts me everytime. That big ear to ear grin that is up to no good, yeah, that smile...priceless!!! I feel sorry for Isaac's wife. She has a long life of giving in ahead of her when he flashed that SUNSHINE at her. I know, I deal with it daily, but honestly, would not want it any other way!!!

p.s. Try not to notice the tag on the tie, it's typical Isaac!!!!
