Teeth!

You really have no idea how important teeth are until you face the possibility that you might not have them for awhile. I know in today's world there are a lot of people (people I love very much!) who need your prayers...imporant life healing prayers, but if you have a "spare prayer", I would like to "borrow" it for Ashley. Like I said, I realize this is not life altering, but it is still my baby we are talking about.

On Thursday, she was playing at Shelly's, when she got to close to a swinger. Her face, mainly her teeth, got the raw end of the deal. The pictures do not show her swollen face, but half of her face is swollen up and she has 4 loose teeth. She has a 20% chance that they are going to fall out and a 50% chance that they are doing to turn black. Basically die and will have to be removed. Her front tooth is the worst, it moved back and is very loose. I realize these are baby teeth and she will get "adult" teeth, but not for 4+ years. In the mean time, she needs her teeth!!! She needs them to eat, talk, and to smile. I know, I keep saying this, it could be SO MUCH WORSE, but it is still hard as the mom to see her like this. So if you have a moment (knowing there are more important prayers), please remember Ash and have her teeth "harden" and have everything be ok. Thank you very much!!!

Poor little Ash! I feel so bad for her and I promise I will keep praying that they will just harden back up and nothing else will have to be done. Give her a big kiss and hug for me. Hugs for you too, I know that this is not easy for Mom either.

Every Prayer is important and we will pray for Ashley's Teeth. My Jason went through the same thing not once but twice. Not by a baby swing but by being a boy. He had two teeth missing for four years. It's hard you want them to look normal but he didn't seem to mind it much. He learned to smile with his mouth closed. I also hope she's not experiencing much pain. I remember Jase being in pain from the teeth being loose for several days before coming out. Good Luck...

Oh, man........Kristin. I feel your pain. Jacob fell and knocked his two front teeth loose when he was about 3. He bled like crazy.
I called a friend of mine that was a dental hygenist and she told me what to do. She told me the same stuff about them maybe turning black.
I was mortified!!! I prayed every day many times per day that his teeth would not turn black. They didn't!!! I was so thankful and still am. I will pray for Ashley!

1st of all...dont EVER feel bad about asking for a few prayers...I dont care if its just because your changing your hairstyle or are going to try another birthday cake;)and you are scared! I am sending prayers for Ash. The poor kid! She has just got to be hurting! And yes it could be worse, but this is your reality. And you have every right to be worried and upset. Give that sweetie some hugs and keep us posted on what going on.
